Coach Parente is now in his seventh year coaching the JV2 Bulldogs and teaching World Geography at Bowie. He works to construct his classroom and teams around the Augie Garrido quote, “Baseball is nothing more than another classroom in the educational process. Really, baseball is a metaphor for life.”
Coach Parente was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to Austin in 1993. In addition to baseball, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors.
